2021 Shopping Forcast by Shopkick

It is clear that Corona 19 will continue to influence consumer behavior. Shopkick surveyed more than 14,000 consumers in the U.S. and gained insights into the survey, shopping habits, purchasing behavior, health and safety precautions, and returning to normal in 2021.

As consumers anticipate the New Year, interest in safety, financial health, and social justice issues has increased, and 60% said the pandemic has changed their shopping habits forever. Consumers say they will always stock up on their necessities, they will make fewer shopping trips, and more online shopping.

Although the popularity of online shopping has risen significantly due to Corona 19, consumers still plan to purchase most shopping, non-essentials (63%) and essentials (89%) at offline stores next year.
